When we received the call from the hospital that Malakai was born and asked us to bring him home, we had 5 days until he was released to get prepared. Our incredible village, and local foster closets rallied behind us to get everything we needed. The past 4 years has been full of material, emotional, mental & spiritual support.

At any time we have been able to ask our local foster closets for what we need and it has been provided. Every time. 

​

A great ongoing need in foster care is diapers and underwear. These can't be reused or passed down like clothes or toys can, so keeping them on hand can be challenging. 

​
